This year has presented extraordinary challenges for families who have lost a loved one and at Christmas more than ever we understand the need for support from family and community. With the current pandemic we acknowledge that things need to be a little different this year which is why our service will be held online.

Whilst you may not be with us in person this year there are still ways you can participate. During the service a candle lighting ceremony will be held and we invite all to have a candle ready and join us in this ceremony. Take a picture of your candle and and post it to our Facebook page with a message of love. The link our Facebook page can be found at the bottom of this page.

You are also invited to leave a message of love & remembrance on our Guest Book which can be accessed via below or via the livestream page. The link to our livestream is located below.

This is our first xmas in 56 years without ma….It’s going to feel very odd, but we are grateful for the lovely send off we had in July. Andrew and Faye were first class and it made the event so much easier to cope with. The days are a struggle but we take comfort in the fact Heritage did ma proud.

  2. Jen Cole says:

Love and miss you our beautiful Mum…now resting peacefully with Dad xx

  3. Trevor Smith says:

In memory of Dorothy May Smith. “It broke our hearts to lose you Mother, but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you Mother, when God called you home. If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane, we’d simply walk our way to heaven and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts Mother you hold a place that no one can ever fill.” Mother 2020 is our first Xmas without you, a bitter pill to swallow this year and all the years to follow. Rest in peace with your Vern, both of you in the arms of Our Eternal Father.
Muched loved, sadly missed … Trevor, Sandra, Karen and Families.

  12. Karen Palmer Hiney says:

In January we unexpectedly lost our Wonderful, Inspirational Mum – ‘Merle’.
We were grateful that we could celebrate her life and honour her, as so many have not been able to do this year.
Her service was beautiful and a tribute to the person she was and the lives she touched.
Mum was my Hero and Best Friend, she was the Wind beneath my wings she taught me to fly high and she was everything I hope to be.
This first Christmas without her will be difficult but my parents taught us to think of others and not dwell on ourselves and what is past, so Christmas Day will honour Mum and Dad – Alan (who passed away in January 2015) by reaching out to others who are alone.
Thankyou for you kindness and support for both Mum and Dad’s funerals.
Wishing you all a Blessed Christmas and New Year
