Losing a loved one or a close friend is one of the most difficult times in your life, it can be traumatic and you may be feeling overwhelmed.
If a person were to pass away at home, and the death was anticipated, then the first person to contact would be the deceased’s doctor or palliative care provider to guide you.
If unable to contact the doctor or the palliative care team, or the passing was not expected, then you should ring “000” and ask for an ambulance.
Robbie, Gavan, Janet and the caring staff at Heritage & Heritage are available 24 hours a day to help and advise you on the procedure to follow and who needs to be notified.
